The Hallelujah parade is set for Friday, October 1, 2010. Parade begins @ 6:00 Line Up Begins @ 5:00 Starting Place - Clay County Shopping Center (Old IGA Parking Lot) Ending Place - CCMS Parking Lot. Floats will drive through and exit at Cool Springs Road. Kids can be picked up at the top level of Parking Lot. Cars will then exit onto Cool Springs Road. Hallelujah Ministries, Inc. shall make all decisions regarding the entries, themes, and participation in the “Hallelujah ’10” parade. All parade entries need to fill out an application and be pre-registered by September 30, 2010. Bands, please use discretion when choosing music. This is a Christian event. A sign must accompany each group, truck, car, or float with a Christian slogan. All floats must have a Christian theme. Be creative! All drivers of any motorized vehicle including go-carts and motorcycles must be 16 years or older and have a valid drivers license. An adult must accompany all children riding floats. This can be riding with or waking alongside. No children will be allowed to ride on top of fire trucks. Horses will be allowed in the parade. Candy can be tossed into the crowd. Remember to keep some for the people at the end of the parade route. Drivers, please be cautious of small children and others retrieving the candy. Please dress modestly and appropriately as you are uplifting the name of the Lord. All entries must be removed by 8:00 p.m. from the CCMS parking lot. Each entry is responsible for disposing of their own trash at the end of the parade. |
